2019 Legacy Land Trust Society Calendar
This year’s theme — Worth Conserving — reflects Legacy’s commitment to land conservation and stewardship.
Share your vision of conservation-worthy places with us. The subjects are your choice: What is important to you?
It might be a special stand of trees. Or butterflies in your garden. Do you visit a favourite stream? Maybe you discovered a fox den. Perhaps you're drawn to a field of wheat at harvest time or an old homestead. Star-filled skies, unblemished by street lights and neon signs, could be what captures your imagination.
We're eager to see what you think is worth conserving.
We’re looking for the personal touch — in 70 words or less tell us why you think the subject of your submission(s) is/are worth conserving.
Legacy Land Trust is based in Mountain View County, Alberta but also works with the surrounding counties. We are looking for photos taken in this general area. (Subjects must be local to this area so no polar bears or spawning salmon, please.)
If you’ve submitted calendar images in the past you will notice some changes this year. In addition to the main images we will also be using filler images in the blank squares on the calendar.
You are welcome to submit a maximum of 5 images. We are looking for realistic images and colours, with a minimum of digital manipulation. All photos can be submitted as RGB JPG files.
Minimum of 3375 px x 2595 px (11.25” x 8.65” @ 300 dpi). Horizontal only.
You can submit your photos in one of 2 ways:
- Use the entry form located on Legacy’s website to submit your photos.
- Submit photos on a CD or thumb drive. Print a copy of the online submission form, fill it out and include it with your submission. Mail or deliver to our office:
