Hammerheads Tell A Story

Legacy was invited to attend the National Indigenous People’s Day Celebration in Olds on June 22.

Our connection with the land, and the display of historical artifacts brought many people to our booth to talk and learn that conservation includes not only the land, but the stories and artifacts included in the landscape.

The hammerheads, found east of Olds, were a conversation starter and brought together children from Olds and Elders from the Piikani and Blackfoot First Nations.
